Each level of Contraptions is a new world filled with a variety of objects and monsters. The primary objective? Clear the level of all monsters. But how you achieve this is entirely up to you. The game offers multiple solutions, each one as exciting and satisfying as the next.

The objects in the game are governed by the laws of physics, making them an integral part of the puzzle-solving process. These objects form what we call a “contraption”. The contraption is designed in such a way that it triggers a chain reaction, eliminating all monsters in its path. However, there’s a twist - the contraption is incomplete. Some objects are out of place, and it’s your job to fix it. You can reposition, flip, or connect different objects to make the contraption work.

When you start a level, time stands still. Gravity has no effect on the objects, and all machines or gadgets are at a standstill. This gives you the freedom to manipulate the environment, move things around, connect or flip objects, and set up the perfect chain reaction. Once you’re satisfied with your setup, you can bring the game to life by pressing the Play button.

If your contraption works as planned, the chain reaction will eliminate all monsters, and you’ll advance to the next level. But if something goes wrong, don’t worry. You can pause the game at any time, adjust your contraption, and try again. This cycle of trial and error is what makes Contraptions so engaging and addictive.
