As their mentor, your role extends beyond the confines of a traditional classroom. You are tasked with leading them through the intricate dance of life, both in their academic pursuits and on the battlefield. The battlefield is a chessboard, and your students, the pieces. Engage in turn-based, tactical RPG battles that are rife with strategic elements and unexpected twists waiting to be discovered.

The narrative that unfolds is as much yours as it is theirs. Your choice of house at the Officers Academy will not only shape your journey but also determine your position when Fódlan is swept up in the tides of war. After half a decade, the bonds formed within the academy’s walls are tested as former classmates cross swords on the battlefield, now as foes. The house you choose, the path you tread, are decisions that rest solely on your shoulders.

Command a battalion of warriors, moving and fighting across a grid-based battlefield. The strength of your units is not set in stone. Hire new battalions, equip them to bolster your ranks, and utilize Combat Arts to launch efficient attacks. Your teachings have prepared them for this moment, and their lives now hinge on your leadership.

The Officers Academy is more than just a school; it’s a microcosm of society, home to three houses: The Black Eagles, The Blue Lions, and The Golden Deer. Each house is led by a charismatic leader: Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude respectively. As a professor, you will guide these students in their academic lives and on the battlefield.

The battlefield is a turn-based, tactical RPG that introduces new twists to strategic combat. You will roam freely around Garreg Mach Monastery, bonding with students in various ways. In the classroom, you will tutor your students, helping them grow in the skill sets required to become specific classes.

For the first time, you can fortify your units with battalions, use new Combat Arts to strategize your moves, and face a new type of giant enemy - the Demonic Beasts. The fate of Fódlan hangs in the balance, and your leadership will determine its future.
